I am a colorist. I use my own interpretive style which has been influenced by the French Impressionist masters.
By entering and being accepted into their national juried shows, I have earned my Signature Awards from the following:

CWA, California Watercolor Society (Master Signature Status in 2009)
ISMP, International Society of Marine Painters
SWA, Society of Western Artists
I regularly enter many juried shows in the San Francisco Bay Area and compete in statewide and national shows. I have won many national, statewide, and local awards. Purchase awards include:
Triton Museum of Art, Santa Clara;
Commercial Savings and Loan, Santa Cruz;
Alameda County Fair Board, Pleasanton;
San Mateo County Fair Board, San Mateo;
Civic Hall of the City of Clayton.
Articles highlighting my painting techniques have been published in the Watercolor 1994 Spring Issue, published by American Artist; Watercolor Magic 1995 Winter Issue, published by the Artist's Magazine; Acrylic Painting Techniques, authored by Grenville Killeen, published by North Light Books, 1st Edition 1994; and in Creative Computer Tools for Artists by Jann Pollard and Jerry Little, published by Watson Guptill Publishers.
Other recognitions include: listed in Who's Who in Art 2006, 2007; and Who's Who in American Art 2008-2009.
